I have recently started my own business FRANK'S HO SCALE LIGHTING and BILLBOARDS at www.hoscalelighting.com designing and building ho scale model train street lights and billboards. I sent out a few free samples to model train hobbyists and they both thought my lights had quality and, the Cobra Head Street Light, which is a replica of the lights you see on city streets and highways, produced an authentic looking circle of light just like the real deal. I am hoping to get some input on how to promote my business on the internet.

 I believe what I am attempting now is called social networking and I am hoping to connect with model train forums and clubs because I believe I have some really nice, quality lights which I put a lot of work into. I am not sure if I am breaking the rules of this site by advertising on it, but I did read the rules and didn't see anything that said I couldn't. 

  I didn't just join this site to promote my business so much as to connect with other people with online businesses and find out what they did to make their business successful. I also have a lot of opinions on other issues which I will voice from time to time.

  Basically this is my first blog and I hope to blog at least once a day. That is how I decided I want to end each day---with a blog. So I guess before I go to bed tonight I will have to blog again.
